Startup Hugging Face aims to cut AI costs with open source offering
Amazon, Google and others are partnering.
The group are aiming at lowering the costs for building chatbots and other AI systems.
Hugging Face to offer the product through Amazon and Google's clouds for $1 per hour.
Apple Sharply Scales Back Production of Vision Pro
Production has been slowed heavily since early summer.
The Vision Pro is widely reported to have seen weak demand due to insufficient content and its high price point.
Source say they could stop making the existing version entirely by the end of 2024.
X’s India revenue falls 90%, filing shows
India plummeted 89.8% to $2.51 million in the financial year ending March.
X also significantly reduced its expenses in India to $2.2 million from $20 million year-over-year.
It remains unclear why X’s revenue declined so dramatically in the country.

Cybertruck pushes to become third best-selling EV in America
The only two vehicles that sold better were the Model 3 sedan and Model Y SUV.
Kelley Blue Book pegged Tesla’s Cybertruck sales as third-best last week, notching over 16,000 sales.
Ford only sold around 7,000 F-150 Lightnings in the third quarter, and just over 13,000 Mustang Mach-E SUVs.
Bessemer, Index, and a16z alum launch VC firm Chemistry
New VC firm Chemistry raised $350 million for its debut fund, Forbes reported on Wednesday.
Investments will be in early-stage startups mainly at the Series A stage, but also seed.
Report are the debut fund was 2x oversubscribed.
